Lost Tractor

"To the artillery commander, Marshal of Artillery, comrade N.N. Voronov

In March of 1943, two cargo loads without documents arrived in Stalinsk from Vladivostok.

Stankoimport proposed that factory #526 should sign for this cargo, which was done on April 19th, 1943.

When the crates were opened, they turned out to contain two Allis-Chalmers tractors packed in May of 1942 in America. As it was later discovered by the People's Commissariat of External Trade, they were sent for Red Army GAU.

Considering that factory #526 is a new factory that is only beginning small arms production and has no transport at all for servicing the factory itself or its associated entities, I ask your permission to keep the two tractors received by factory #526.

V. Ryabikov."
