T-34 mod. 1942 Turrets

RGAE 8752-4-186

A conference was held at factory #183 in September of 1942 to determine the necessary changes to increase the quality of T-34 tanks. Among them was the addition of a commander's cupola to the T-34 mod. 1942 turret, as well as increasing its size. Other changes discussed at the conference were the replacement of the Pomon air filter with the superior Cyclone filter and improvement of the final drives and idler.

  1. So would they also add a crewmember for the copula or would the gunner have to scoop back all the time to look through the copula?

    1. Correct, this version still only had two turret crew members.
