Pz.Kpfw.III Replica at the Ontario Regiment Museum

This tank is not an actual PzIII, but you can hardly tell just by looking at it. The only giveaway was that the tires don't say "Continental" on them. According to the driver, it was built entirely to factory blueprints externally, and only the insides come from the M113 APC.

  1. This is by far the best copy yet. Previously there were plenty built based on FV-432s which were pretty good but the 5 roadwheels were a dead giveaway's.

    1. Yes, it is much more convincing than their "StuG", which is based on the FV-432 and is completely empty on the inside. There is also a Marder III replica on a post-war Czech chassis and a Panzerwerfer replica on a Universal Carrier chassis, which are pretty good until you look inside.

  3. That's a beauty. Is that the Chieftain in the bottom photo?
