Tanks were not so important during WW2. That's why e.g Americans didn't pay much attention on them compared to air and sea power. Land warfare has always been backward compared to air and sea warfare.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making this resource available. Also, I wonder if you could help me. I am looking for information/ materials on what the Wehrmacht referred to as PakFronts (which was later adopted and refined by the Red Army). I can't seem to find any information on this save for one document in Russian which I cannot read!! Thanks in advance.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome to send it to me, I will take a look. I have some captured documents RE: Pak tactics. If you read German, you can also take a look at the German Docs in Russia project: http://www.germandocsinrussia.org/ru/nodes/1-rossiysko-germanskiy-proekt-po-otsifrovke-trofeynyh-kollektsiy
DeleteJust curious, but why nothing on the Jagdpanzer IV? Can't find anything about it on here unless I've just overlooked it. Great resource for info on everything else though!
