Brief and specific description of heroism: in combat between January 12th and January 18th, 1945, the 2nd Tank Battalion commanded by comrade Major Hohryakov traveled over 200 km from Szydłów to the German-Polish border at the city of [illegible]epice.
On their way, they forded in battle the rivers Nida, Pilica, and Warta, which were heavily fortified by the enemy.
On January 15th, the 2nd Tank Battalion was appointed as the advance guard of the brigade, where it fought from Naglivice to Ishvnice. In battle, comrade Hohryakov acted bravely and decisively, dealing great damage to the enemy in both personnel and materiel during his steadfast advance. At 18:00 on January 16th, he burst into Menstohova and engaged the enemy alongside a motorized submachinegunner battalion and the city was cleared of the enemy by 15:00 on January 17th.
