Is this the real armour thickness layout of the Leopard 1a0? I'm curious because I have seen other pictures which show that the Leopard 1 has a bit more armour on the turret and the hull. For example: Turret sides are 60mm thick (here it shows 43mm) and the back of the turret is 50mm thick (here 35mm). Now there are 2 sources both claiming something different.
its about comparable to a Panther in thickness values, right?
ReplyDeleteRoughly, the Leopard had very thin armour for its time.
