As you can see from the list of weapons used by the company, it was hardly "the one with the rifle shoots, the one without the rifle follows". However, the weapon types are a bit hard to decode, since not all of them are accounted for in the initial totals. PP is obviously submachineguns, p are pistols, sk are sniper rifles, v are regular rifles, kr are carbines. I don't know what #1 and #2 stand for (possibly variants of the carbine, but it's not clear why that would matter to anyone), or what k and b are. Valeriy had a theory that b is binoculars, and k is perhaps a map.

  1. It would be helpful to see the original document to decipher the abbreviations fully. My understanding would be;

    p (pistols) and pp (submachine guns) as noted
    a would normally indicate a self-loading rifle
    b would indicate a bolt-action rifle
    c would indicate a sniper rifle
    kp would indicate carbine (shorter length bolt-action rifle)

    б indicates binoculars
    k indicates compass

    I've not seen v or sk noted on WW2 era Shtat tables that I've seen.

    The #1 and #2 I would presume are shown as No.1 and No.2 on the original, in which case they refer to the ammunition set for the rifle.
