Upgunned T-34

I came across this piece of information, talking about an 85 mm gun tested in the regular T-34 turret, perhaps as a competitor to the S-54.

Second paragraph, underneath the handwriting, reads:

"Three 85 mm guns were tested on the T-34 tank. Two of them, the S-50 from TsAKB and LB-1 from Factory #92, were installed in the turret with the enlarged turret ring (increased turret width and with a rear niche). The third S-53 gun was tested in the regular T-34 turret."

It looks quite silly, I'd say!
