SU-7 Ergonomics

A lot of people complain about how you could only work in Soviet tanks if you were very short. The SU-14 exhibits the exact opposite trend.


_tezka provides a caption for this image: "The photograph characterizes the uncomfortable working conditions of the loader when operating the crane with the shell and propellant." He is nowhere tall enough to crank the handle comfortably, and must stand on some equipment in order to put him in a good position. Perhaps someone should have brought a crate for him to stand on.


And here's a picture of the whole vehicle, simply because you don't see one of these every day.
